A proposed 64-unit affordable housing complex is set for construction on Route 70, bordering Cherry Hill’s Wexford neighborhood. The project, on a long-vacant site between St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church and First Global Methodist Church, stems from a settlement agreement between Cherry Hill Township, Fair Share Housing Center, and Volunteers of America.
Township attorney Jeffrey R. Surenian outlined the plan in a September 30 letter to state Superior Court, highlighting the Township’s commitment to affordable housing. A court hearing is scheduled for December 2.
