On Thursday night, the Township zoning board declined to grant approval to a developer proposing a four-story self-storage facility along westbound Route 70 in Cherry Hill. Board members cited inability to provide a use variance due to zoning laws that prohibit such use. Additionally, the site’s classification as part of the Township’s “gateway” under zoning regulations further contributed to the decision.
